When you first get "the bug" deciding that you want to make your next fortune with an internet business, you will soon find yourself in a battle between planning and reckless action.

At best, you have an established stream of traffic, some loyalty and brand awareness built, a small but growing list of a few hundred people and lots of ideas for additional products and services your market wants.
