If you have ever doubted your ability to write a book, author your own ebook or start your own information product publishing business, then you’re going to want to close your eyes for this next part, because its only one of many cases where someone has done just that.

After suffering through pregnancies – pain, emotional turmoil and morning sickness – Sally Aubrey decided to start a blog that both provided an outlet and a place where she could network with like-minded people going through the same thing.

From her blog, Sally discovered patterns of questions that she shared with her readers and had the bright idea to go out and find the answers packaging it all up into her very own ebook.

So far, its an amazing success story, her ebook titled “Amazing Pregnancy Secrets” is selling like wildfire, has a truckload of testimonials, is getting attention from major newspapers online and offline, but here’s the really important part…

Sally is just like you – she took a common experience, problem (same can be done with a hobby), organized an interest site around the topic and quickly determined what people wanted to know.

She then prepared a list of questions and simply went out an found the answers. She asked other women for their tips, she went to a few GP’s to get their tips, approached other professionals and within a very short period of time had all the material she needed for a best-selling ebook.

what is especially interesting is her quick identification of how she could offer unique value in a market that was already full of books and ebooks about pregnancy.  In short, Sally managed to penetrate a highly competitive, proven market with her own unique value proposition.

How did she do it?

Sally noticed that, of all the books on pregnancy, there were few that focused strictly on helping with the discomfort and morning sickness aspects – of the books she did find she found that none had looked at a wide scope of options on how to address discomfort that spanned both medical and alternative health approaches.

I can attest, this is a common problem with health guides is that you typically have advice from the medical profession and separate advice from alternative health practitioners and researches, rarely will you find cross-over books incorporating advice from both.

Sally’s example is just one of many that demonstrate you really can find ways to uniquely tackle almost any market out there today.

The message – when planning or writing your ebook, do not be scared by competition – instead research the market well enough to find its weak spots to determine how you will uniquely add value to the information products already in that market.

You can do it too – by following the process we have outlined in our Information Marketer’s eBook Writing and Marketing Package, you can follow this same process and create your own wealth generating ebook, newsletter, course or other information product.
