How To ATTACK Your Market in 2005!

I've recently taken the time to go back over my consulting client files,
subscriber feedback and tons of other experiences from the last year - and
noticed...

A constant pattern of online entrepreneurs GIVING AWAY THEIR MARKET

So many times I speak with someone who has a strong unique selling angle
or one unique product within their market, but they fail to really ATTACK
their market.

Now I'll be the first to admit it, as a group of product developers and marketers,
we're a rather odd lot.

Some of us are great at generating ideas, but never quite seem to realize 10%
of the potential

Others of us are great at getting that first product out, but are hopeless at
building on initial success.

Still others are terrific marketers, but can't seem to keep enough products in
the pipeline to generate consistent sales.

Then there's the go-it-alone mentality.

After all, it's our individual passion and gumption that got us this far, why
start sharing our profit and effort with others now?

Regardless of which group you belong to -- success in your market depends on
generating an all-out, full-scale, no-holds-bar attack on your market.

Here's how.

ATTACK TECHNIQUE #1: Build Loyal Subscribers

If you are not already doing it - you need to communicate with your subscribers
at least once a week...

Home Automation - Can You Be THE Expert in 2005!

Take a look at this article from Wired Online and tell me
that this home automation trend won't be a lucrative area
for various infoproducts and websites in the coming year.

Give Your Home A Brain For X-mas

Home automation is already a very lucrative niche market, and
is now moving toward mainstream market acceptance.

When a technology is in the very early stages, the early
adopters settle for figuring things out from scratch, infoproducts
such as ebooks, training guides, seminars and membership sites
are less in-demand.

When a technology begins to move beyond early adopters to
the mainstream, the mainstream market is much less willing
to spend time to learn the technology - and much more open
to buying such information.

Home automation will enter such a phase in 2005.

If you have a passion, interest, experience in this area - or
know someone who does, then this is a terrific opportunity
for you to become THE information source for home automation
in 2005.

How Google Works

For all you engineer and science types, here is an interesting - if not
overwhelming, diagram of how Google Adwords and Adsense work.

http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/adwords-adsense-diagram.htm

Take some time to read this stuff over - especially the terminology
at the bottom, then GET BACK TO WORK creating and marketing your own
products!

Distraction over finely tuning Search Engine tools is something that
product creators don't have to worry about - AS MUCH (note I didn't
say AT ALL).

The power you have as a product owner is leverage. You can drive traffic
to your site via affiliates, joint venture partners, viral products,
seminars, etc...

You'll notice that volume and quality of traffic to your site influences
your Adsense revenue - so all these other traffic generation techniques
will serve to make your site more attractive to search engines, resulting
in better search engine alignment.

So what product are you working on?

Getting More Sales For Your Online Marketing Dollar

Often I get asked, "what are some additional ways I can take my
successful business to and entirely new level?"

My top 3 recommendations always involves methods for increasing the
value per customer.

If you sell a $47 ebook to a customer, then try and convert the majority
of your customers to paying $67, $97 or even more by either increasing
the value of your product OR by upselling, cross-selling another product
or service.

Here's a useful free article on the topic of getting more sales for
the same online marketing dollar:

Ten Tips For Getting Customers To Up Their Order.

After reading this article, you would be hard-pressed to NOT have a couple
of ideas for upping your order.

By far the best technique for getting traffic, building a strong affiliate program, and building both credibility and sales is writing and submitting free articles on your topic of interest.

Now anyone can write an article, very few people can write articles that are in-demand, that really get picked up by ezine publishers and result in a flood of traffic to your website.

Two great resources for you to help write magnetic articles that attract a flood of traffic and sales:

How To Make Writing Articles Payoff!

And The Best Guidebook On Writing Power-Packaged Articles Online Bar None -

"Turn Words Into Traffic"

What do you need to write powerful, money-generating articles?

1. A Great Topic and Title. Just as ebooks, books or any other product will not sell if it is not focused on a passionate, obsessive desire - so to must your article.

2. Keep it short and to the point. Don't over-inform. Have a point,
explain it up front and give the reader what they want in less than 800 words.

3. Put links to your website into the article, as well as in your resource box following the article.

People have learned to ignore resource boxes, but one well-placed link in the body of an article can result in massive clickthru's

4. Submit to the best directories - AND request notification so you can see who is publishing your articles, what the response is. If response is good, you will want to get permission from the publisher to send out future articles directly to them.

Not all will agree, but most will - that's how you build your very own
HOT publisher's list.

Some of my favorite article directories are:
