Great Viral Marketing Idea...

When you think of viral marketing, most people automatically think
about developing free ebooks that will pull traffic back to their
sites. Even offer up rebrandable ebooks, so that partners, affiliates
and joint venture alliances can rebrand the ebook with their own
affiliate links - giving them more reason to spread your ebook widely.

Viral ebooks do work. I have used Viral PDF to brand ebooks and special
reports many times in the past years - they still bring in new traffic
years after being launched.

However, it is getting more challenging to attract attention to YOUR
viral ebook since there are so many of them available on the market
today, and most are extremely poor quality.

So, here's another terrific technique.

I was searching for resources to add to my new Spam Blocker Website when I
came across this neat Anti-Spam video game.

Cool enough that you can zap spammers online with this video game, but
notice further down the page, the creators have offered the ability
to instantly add the game to your website with the push of a button
(and copy of some code).

With the video game on thousands of partner machines - you offer
backlinks and links back to your site to get a TON of new traffic.

Can you think up a viral game or tool that you could have someone
develop for a couple hundred dollars on elance.com or rentacoder.com?

I bet you could - and the impact on your website stats, sales and
business would be well worth your while.

Are You A Meathead?

Remember Archie Bunker's description of what a Meathead
was on All in the Family?

Dead, from the neck up!

When it comes to creaivity, innnovation, coming up with
ideas that magically turn into money - are you alive?

Ever wonder how some of the big names in business are able to
continually come up with new, innovative product ideas,
marketing programs and publicity projects?

New ideas are the lifebload of leaping to the top of your
field.

Here's a couple of tips to become more creative - even in
the busiest of lifestyles:

1. Get Tuned In. Notice everything around you and how
it could relate to your business. You will find that hundreds
of things pass us by each day because we are just not tuned
in. Live IN the moment - suck up everything. Feed your brain
and it will respond by automatically becoming more creative.

2. Break Your Rouine. Most of us follow a very regimented
routine (how we wake up, morning routine, route to work,
when we take breaks, etc...). Routine, while comforting,
lulls the mind into a sleepy blob - break routine and re-activate
you mind.

3. Believe you are Creative. Deep down, most of us believe
we are creatively inadequate. Using affirmations, meditation,
exercises, visualization - you can break down those beliefs.
Write positive statements about what you want to be and go over
them each and every day for 2-weeks - you'll see results!

There are some great books on this topic - the best one I
come back to again and again is "Thinkertoys" by Michael Michalko,
you can pick it up on Amazon or through your local bookstore.

If you are looking for a resource to help you generate and test
ideas for your next information product, then we've put together
"The Ultimate Information Entrepreneur's Success Package" to help
you do just that.

Can Great Marketing Sell Poor Products?

pen.jpeg

There is a very dangerous misconception out there in marketing land that must be once and for all STOPPED!

I hear it again and again - great marketing can sell anything.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong!

Great marketing and superb advertising uncovers and communicates great products.

Anything else is blind manipulation - something that will backfire everytime.

The greatest names in advertising agree, David Ogilvy, Halbert, Carleton - great products with great advertising is the equation for success.

A great technique I've used many times is to design advertising around the ideal product, then go and develop (or finish) your product so it matches the advertising.

Where many people get it wrong is they develop the product, then write their advertising. Along the way they figure out that what they want to say about their product doesn't match what is delivered - but because they've left it to the end, they go ahead and deliver it anyway.

So - don't make the same mistake.

Write your ads first, then develop the product to OVER deliver.

I Really Don't Work Very Hard

beach.jpeg

Many of us were brought up to value hard work.

Our parents, grandparents and school system hard coded our brains to believe that if we just work a little harder than the next guy - we'll get ahead.

I'm not about to tell you that hard work doesn't pay off, but it certainly won't pay off on its own.

Another saying - work smarter, not harder is more to the point.

You have to have a plan that works - I call this mastering the fundamentals.

Once you mastered the fundamentals, you need to suspend your disbelief for a period and target your plan ahead of your competition - ahead of what is already going on in the world around you.

If you are ready to learn both the fundamentals and master the steps outlined below turning your dreams of being a home-based information publishing entrepreneur into reality - then pick up a copy of:

http://www.infoproductcreator.com

How does all of this relate to those of us who make our living publishing and marketing information?

Here's how.

You need to master 2 very important things to "work smarter" at information product publishing...Read The Full Article Here

Infoproduct Idea Goldmine
*************************************

What do you do when you get your local college or
school study guide for fall courses?

True enough, you may not have the time to take any
courses this year, but inside this brochure is a goldmine
of proven information product ideas.

Look for special interest or personal interest courses,
these have often been pre-screened for interest and are
great sources for hot infoproduct ideas.

Here's what I found in a first scan of one local college
brochure we received:

Be Your Own Contractor Series
Planning a Rennovation
Professional Powerpoint Presentations
Belly Dancing
All About Furniture
Fire Prevention
Working with Chocoloate
Bread Baking
Ports of Call
Introduction to the Kitchen
How to Throw a Party
Astronomy
Health and Wellness - Preventing Burnout
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Gardening Courses
Pruning Trees
Running a Fitness Business

There are hundreds more - you get the point.

Courses are priced from $47-$599 and typically generate
a great deal of interest, some operating multiple courses
for hundreds of people at a time.

Turning these coureses into your own information product
would be quite simple - starting with a home study course,
ebook, email course and moving to teleseminars, interviews,
videos and perhaps membership sites are all very real
business options.

Next time you get that local course listing, don't throw it
out before you have a chance to mine it for product
ideas.

Where Do Great Product Ideas Come From?
*****************************************

Being an innovator, a creative genius - and idea person
is really not that tough when you consider that 99% of
the "brilliant" ideas or products created were derrived
from other ideas - NOT created completely from scratch.

Bill Gates is brilliant, a billionaire and a major
philanthropist - someone to admire for sure.

What's Your Office Look Like?

This folks, is entrepreneurship at its finest!

jeff-smith-office.jpg

I have to admit, the office you see below is not usually THIS out of
control, but lately I've been doing a combination of recording
interviews, recording music, writing my latest ebook, shooting videos,
and well - another 3 or 4 hundred other tasks, of course in between
rounds of video games the kids decide they want to play on my main
computer (even though they have their own!).

Seriously though - show me an office that is too organized, and I'll
show you someone who spends 90% of their time on the wrong tasks (
cleaning up their desk instead of creating products or sending out
their latest marketing campaign.)

You may notice the material up against the back wall - that's not just
my bad taste in decorating - but is something called painted muslin,
a backdrop for the videos I am currently shooting.

Ever since coming across Bill Myers fantastic product creation site
over a year ago - I've been hooked on moving between written products
and creating my own video products - he makes the whole exercise so
simple and fun.

Check out Bill's famous Product Developer's Site Here.

A certain amount of organization is required just to function - yes!

But, does your office look busy?

If we took a look today, does it show signs of active WORKING going on?

Is their evidence that you are spending time on the really valuable
tasks, not just administration or surfing?

Something to think about isn't it?

Cheers....

New Information Entrepreneur Success Tips...

Hi everyone, we have some great tips and updates for
you this week.

Just back from 1 week isolation in a cottage in the lakes,
the batteries are charged and we're ready to finish some
new projects to launch in the fall.

*************************************
Could You Be Pushing Away Exactly What You Want?

Want to find out the real reasons you can't seem to stick
to your goals?

I've had miracles happen in my life I've never been comfortable
sharing with other people.

Its not that I'm not grateful, truth is I am incredibly grateful.

When you can't explain something, put your fingers on why
something happens - its rather tough to talk about or share
with people.

Case in point, almost 6-years ago, I put a list of very ambitious
goals on a piece of paper - a paper I still keep beside my bed
to this day.

Goals about earning 10X my income at the time, regaining creative
control in my life, health related goals and relationship/family
goals.

I could not have predicted the journey, but every one of those
goals has been realized - to find out more about how this happened
read it here...
