You Can Re-Publish Content To Ezine Articles…Who Knew?

1

Many people who regularly publish articles to Ezine Articles go through tremendous work to NOT duplicate blog posts or content they post on their websites directly to EZA – believing this was a major no-no in their terms of service.

Turns out that is NOT the case, and that they welcome 100% of your original content even if it has already been posted elsewhere…2 Minute Submission Tips from EZA

There are also some thoughts on duplicate content penalties in this thread as well…not sure I trust any one source on that complex topic as Google really is the only one that knows for sure.

For example, the EZA guys give the example of Associated Press massively syndicating their content around the net and the fact that they don't get penalized…unfortunately Associated Press most of us are NOT.

It could be that Google sees AP as a massive authority site and therefore treats them much differently than they would treat you or I.

It could also be that there is enough associated content around those articles on all of the news sites that post the AP content that it looks more unique than one would think at first glance.

Whatever the case – I would certainly be comfortable sending along some of my content as-is, but would sitll try and get some original content onto my own site and onto EZA (independently) as well.

I am not sure I fully understood you here Jeff, but all I can say is your idea of covering this topic on your blog and linking to EA was quite a clever one.

It just goes to show with igenuity, we limit ourselves when it comes to traffic generation.
