WAITING FOR PERMISSION

Are you sitting on an idea, strategy or tactic right now where you are looking for someone or some thing to give you permission or validation?

They want someone to come up and say, YES, this is the way to go or NO, you are about to make a huge mistake, instead do it like this…

But wait…there is only 1 true validation that matters…your MARKET’S validation.

And the only way to test that validation is to execute – to put your idea, thought, tactic or strategy into practice and let your market tell you what they think…

You know what?

There is no way you can fail by going to your market with execution.

Best case, they love your idea as it is and you leap frog to the top of your market.

Middle case…they engage, but response is luke-warm and you can find out why to evolve toward your best case

Worst case…they do not engage, but even here you WIN.  From a setback or challenge you learn the most about your market and your idea…from there you have the best chance of all of responding with a best case scenario next time.

See, you cannot lose…the only way you lose is to wait for validation, which as we express here…will never come unless you put yourself out there.

REPLACE FEAR/UNCERTAINTY WITH CONFIDENCE 

Does this sound familiar…”Why would my market  buy what I am offering?”  Or, “Why would they pay that much for my knowledge?” Or perhaps “Without being an expert, my market will not buy what I have!”

This is the little voice that chirps up inside all of our heads…issuing destructive challenges based on fear or uncertainty that constantly interfere with our ability to execute.

Read those statements again, do you see how negative, critical and destructive they really are?  They are really forgone conclusions aren’t they?

For instance, instead of saying “Why would my market buy what I am offering” – a better way to put this is “I am going to test my title or product concept to see if my market wants to buy what I am offering” 

Do you see the difference?

The second expresses the same concern of validating your idea, but in a proactive way that emphasizes execution over passive negativity.

So, what you want to do is become more conscious of the voice inside your head and replace the negative thoughts with more proactive thoughts putting execution front and center as THE way to handle any uncertainty. 

This really works folks…and will change your life from passive, fearful and uncertain to active, forward-moving, execution and successful – no matter what area of your life you are trying to improve.
