This short posting today is for all of you who are sitting on the fence, afraid to act on your desire to become an entrepreneur, start your own business and get down to work based on the excuse that you don’t know enough or that you aren’t an expert either at business or in your market

You’ve heard the story of the tortoise and the hare?

Business requires that you have the energy and agility of the hare, but that you exercise the discipline and persistence of the tortoise

That means you can learn as you go…so if you are 30% of the way there today, then that’s good enough! Get started and learn as you go.

Here’s Why You Can Beat The Experts And Win At Your Business

I have seen it over and over again…X has 50% of the knowledge as Y, but because X is driven, active, has empathy for his or her market, relates better to their market and is a better teacher and communicator they become a massively successful entrepreneur while Y continues to preach, dream and come up with excuses why they are actually smarter or better.

Believe me, I’ve seen this play out over and over again in our coaching and online marketing training program inside Information Markter’s Zone…the so-called expert spends so much time explaining to others why they “know” they are on the right track (when they usually are not otherwise they wouldn’t be asking for help in the first place) that they have little room left to learn what it REALLY takes to succeed in business

On the other hand, I have had students that have the drive, the passion, the BIG reason WHY and a very tiny amount of knowledge or experience in business and even their market…yet they have all the ingredients to win (except perhaps self-belief and a push in the right direction)

If you have a passion for helping your market/customer, have their best interests in mind, have empathy and learn to communicate effectively with them…you will win

Soon, these non-experts figure it out and quickly make progress in their market based on learning to put themselves and their ideas out there, listen to the feedback and quickly pivot changing their business in a way that provides most value to their marketplace

In short, they leave their “expert” business people in their dust and soon they lead their market.

So, if you doubt your ability to start and grow your own business because you aren’t an expert (or feel you lack experience or knowledge),  the lesson here is that you are the perfect candidate to outrun your competition…bet you didn’t realize you had an advantage did you?
