MAKING STEP 1 SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE

The way to succeed online with niche marketing then is to simplify the process, take variables out of the equation so that you can focus on one thing at a time, perfect it, make money and move on. 

In our experience, the way to do this is to uncover top selling products within a specific niche first, do a better job of driving traffic to those sites to make money first.

If you can stick to a niche that you enjoy or know something about, great…that’s not mandatory, but it does help if you can find a top selling product in a niche you have some experience as you can quickly generate content, niche sites and position your credibility to drive traffic and pre-sell.

If you don’t have experience in the niche, then you need to be a little more creative about how you generate your content and credibility – interviews, outsource, research, etc…

So what does this mean your very next step should be?

In a word, product research.

You need to spend the next couple of days understanding what the top selling information products are in your niche market.

In other words, find out what products are top sellers on Clickbank, Amazon, Commission Junction, Lulu – anyplace where people “consume” information so you can tap into existing demand.

Why?

Because you immediately take several variables OFF the table – with top selling products you KNOW they have an appealing product with a strong desire/demand for information, they have a proven sales process and have decent copywriting.  You also know that there is proven demand to buy (not just search for) information. 

That means you can focus on only two important tasks…

1. Designing a sales funnel for your chosen niche market – these are often combinations of sites that draw in traffic with solid content and a niche website designed to give away valuable information in exchange for an opt-in – a chance to build a relationship and pre-sell your audience on a range of products and services within your market. 

2. Generating traffic into your sales funnel with a constant aim toward tracking and measuring the success of your ability to convert that traffic into sales of the proven products you have chosen to promote. 

Isn’t that niche marketing system simpler than many you have read about in the past?
