  • Reverse Engineer Hot Selling Products: Find top selling books or courses in your niche market – notice the specific pain or desire they target, you KNOW there is demand, just position your solution targeting the same desire
  • Develop “Test” Content: I use this all the time. If I’m wrestling between 2 or 3 ideas then I produce several pieces of content (articles, videos, social posts) and see which one gets the most response. You can post those articles on Medium, LinkedIn, Facebook, Quora or even on your blog and drive traffic from organic social media posts. You can also do a quick promotion with $10 or $20 worth of ads to further test the content if you are looking for quick results. Look not only at views but look for engagement – comments, time on page, shares, etc..
  • Promote Related Products: By testing a partner or affiliate product that targets the same or a similar problem in your market you can both test the idea AND make some affiliate commission along the way – check Clickbank, CJ, Udemy, Teachable, WarriorPlus, etc..for products
  • Test Your Own MVP: This does require a small amount of effort (say a day or two) where you put together a small report, video, course, checklist, etc… and sell it for $7-$27 to test your idea before creating a more involved product
