Are you excited or overwhelmed by the massive increase in the speed of digital transformation?

During the pandemic we see retail being replaced everywhere by direct to consumer, education and training going completely virtual, entertainment and communication in bits and bytes…all of this can be overwhelming for anyone, especially if you have ambitions to be an entrepreneur.

Revolutions Are Messy, Confusing And Cause Tremendous Uncertainty!

Not only is the speed of the digital transformation a major factor, so is the uncertainty and opportunity created for consumption. If you are not careful, you can easily find yourself sitting around in your PJ’s doing nothing but surfing Tik Tok, watching YouTube and binging Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime.

Oh ha, haven’t forgotten about you Twitcher’s (is that even a word?) either…and were only getting started with that platform.

Whether you like it or not, massive digital transformation IS happening. Nothing any of us can do about that…so the question is really what role will it play in your life?

Here’s What I Mean (This Part’s For You Online Entrepreneurs)

The best way to prevent overwhelm (or at best, future regret when things don’t turn out as you expect) is to break these type of transformations down… (Those of you who have taken the 30DayProductProfit Program know full well how digital entrepreneurs turn transformations into top selling products…if you don’t know, then maybe take a quick look)

A few principles to navigate the digital revolution are:

  1. Decide if you will be a participant or just a consumer of the digital revolution. Nothing wrong with either decision, but don’t fool yourself…if you want a piece of the action, you can’t just consume
  2. If you will participate…quickly aim to understand the business models at work (digital products, drop shipping, bulk ordering, manufacturing, services…) and Marketing methods (influencer/partner, organic, paid, etc…)
  3. If you intend to participate, limit your consumption to a) content you learn from based on a very planned investigation or b) entertainment/relaxation with strict limits.
  4. Understand, at the end of the day, this is still BUSINESS…it’s still all about people wanting/needing things and suppliers reaching them and fulfilling/supporting them in a timely way
  5. Do more than you plan or learn…try different businesses (on a shoestring until you prove them out) until you find something that hits on the demand side AND feels right to you as an entrepreneur
  6. Expect that nearly everyone offering information is selling something of their own — so a) be selective about who you watch/listen to and b) watch WHAT they do more than WHAT they say you should do

Now – hopefully you can stop being overwhelmed by the digital revolution and instead, become an active participant in a way that satisfies your business, creative and personal happiness. One way you can get involved is to share your knowledge through a digital product or online course – that’s what we have successfully helped many others do…in the next 30-days you could be doing it too.
