Being able to find your audience, attract them to your marketing is key…but again, this is not THE KEY (in fact there are many of our students good at generating traffic, but suck at converting that traffic into sales and profit.)

What Is The Key To Successful Online Businesses REALLY?

What do you need to be able to do to write great copy though?  Any guesses?

You must be able to get inside the head of your target market such that you have empathy for the gap they struggle with today between where they WANT to be and where they actually are.

The Light Bulb MOMENT!

We all harbor these private desires to be more, to have more, to be seen as something other than we perceive we represent today…in fact these desires to BE, HAVE, DO, OR BECOME something we believe we are not today consume the vast majority of our thoughts driving a good deal of our emotionally driven behavior (especially including consumption and buying.)

Even more interesting from an online business and product creation point of view, once you put your finger on the DESIRE within a given market…that desire continues for weeks, months and even years down the road.

Endless Flow Of Value & Opportunity…

If someone wants to improve their golf game so that they reduce their embarrassment in front of those whom they wish to maintain a certain status with (friends, business partners, bosses, high profile community players, etc…) then their desire is to improve their driving, their overall golf fitness, their putting, etc…

Do you think this means they will only ever buy one product to help them get there?

No – they will buy dozens of products (across different price ranges from a simple guidebook through advanced personal coaching) for months and years into the future.

The same for someone who struggles with their weight.

They may start by buying a product or program that helps them lose weight in a specific trouble spot like belly fat, leg fat or on their hips…but chances are they will continue to want to improve their appearance and health for months to come (either because keeping weight off is HARD or simply because they want to continue to improve)

Reading Your Market’s Mind Can Be Learned…
